Yes we are annoyed. California State Parks has kept ALL San Diego sector State Beaches (Carlsbad, Coronado, etc.) closed for volleyball. The courts that OUR group built at South Carlsbad State Beach (Ponto) are still shut down. Warm Waters / Tamarack and Frazee are likewise closed for volleyball.
Compare that to Encinitas (Moonlight), Del Mar (Dog Beach), San Diego (OB, MB, PB, Mission Bay, La Jolla), Coronado and National City which are all open.
Start writing your local Assemblyperson and State Senators. Let them know you don’t agree.
